Customized reporting options in SharePoint Farm Report v4.3

A new version of Vyapin’s SharePoint Farm Reporter v4.3 has been released. This version significantly changes the way SharePoint users source various farm level reports for particular time periods as per their requirement.

Extended period of reporting covered

The benefit of this development can be realized in various reports that have Date Range option. Due to this, SharePoint business users can view reports about changes and activities in a Site by taking the Site created date as the starting point. The SharePoint usage reports record the activity and changes to the Site from its inception and administrators can cull out information for a specific time horizon by indicating their preferred date range (time period). This feature enhancement gives greater flexibility to administrators to generate reports that contribute to Site tracking, maintenance and management.

Built-in date range selection

The latest version of the SharePoint Farm Reporter provides more convenient / built-in date functions for users to choose. This allows administrators to indicate a date range / period, in generic terms instead of specifying the exact “from – to” period to generate usage reports, as shown below. This feature will be extremely useful if you generate usage reports periodically for distribution to business users.
