The new version of Dockit Archiver v1.1.6489 has been released with certain feature enhancements and bug fixes recently. We hope this new version will be a useful update for our customers. These are the bug fixes and enhancements in this new version:
- Optimized the performance of ‘Files modified between’ archive condition.
- Fix to provide date conditions in the archive job, for any date format on the local computer.
Optimized the performance of ‘Files modified between’ archive condition:
We have handled the performance of the application when ‘Files modified between’ archive condition is given. Previously, when ‘Files modified between’ condition is given in the archiver job, modified date of a file and its version would be checked. After the checking, the versions of the file that satisfies the condition will be exported.
Now, in this new version, we have modified this behavior to improve the performance, such that the modified date of latest file version alone will be checked for ‘Files modified between’ archive condition. If the condition is satisfied, then all the versions of that file will be exported.
Note: Even if the modified date of any previous version of a file is between the date range of given “Files modified between” condition, those file versions will not be archived, since this condition will be applied only for the latest version.
Fix to provide date conditions in the archive job, for any date format on the local computer:
When the date format in the Regional Settings of the computer running Dockit 365 Archiver is different from mm/dd/yyyy and if a date condition is given, then the user will be unable to proceed after ‘Archive Conditions’ step.
It has been fixed now thereby users can create and execute the jobs in any date format set on local computer.
